Childbirth Education:

• Lamaze comprehensive 6 weeks course (12 hours of instruction) includes: Late pregnancy & Overview of Normal Labour & Birth, First Stage of Labour, Second & Third Stage Labour & Immediate Postpartum, Variations of Labour & Medical Interventions, Breastfeeding, Postpartum Adjustments
• Prenatal in a Day (7 hours of instruction) basic overview of pregnancy, labour, birth, breastfeeding & postpartum
• Design your own package, hourly rates apply Classes offered in the comfort and privacy of your home. Gather friends and do private group classes at your chosen location! (10 couples maximum please)

Professional Birth Doula Support:

What is a Doula? An ancient Greek word that has come to refer to a woman experienced in childbirth that provides continuous emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint, as well as helping obtain the information needed to make informed decisions

• Two prenatal home visits which include basic education and birth planning
• Full labour, birthing & post partum support, initial breastfeeding
• One follow up post partum hospital visit & one post partum home visit
• Phone support and pertinent resources
• Concise, typed birth story treasure
• Privileged at the following hospitals; B.C. Women’s Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, Richmond Hospital, Burnaby Hospital, Royal Columbian Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital
