My philosophy:

I believe birth is normal and woman know how to birth instinctively so I encourage them to tap into their inner wisdom.

I believe that a women’s confidence in birth can be enhanced or diminished depending on her supports.

I believe woman have the right to choose an intervention/medication free birth but support women who may choose otherwise.

I believe I can enhance the partner’s participation at his/her comfort level.

I believe as a Lamaze childbirth educator I can help couples make good informed decisions in order to achieve a memorable and satisfying experience.

I believe helping women understand what to expect during labour and birth can increase their confidence level.

I believe in birth and feel privileged to serve women/couples at such a sacred yet vulnerable time.

I believe babies are a gift and need to be loved, nurtured and protected prenatally, at birth and beyond.
